Sheffield United are lining up a £15m bid for Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster, according to reports in the English media.
Blades boss Chris Wilder was initially keen on signing the 20-year-old on loan but the Reds are unwilling to let the forward leave for Bramall Lane on a temporary basis.
Brewster scored 11 goals in 22 appearances during his time with Swansea City last season and it has led to a host of teams taking a keen interest in the England Under 21 international.
Tottenham, Aston Villa, Brighton, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Fulham are the seven other top-flight clubs who are believed to be interested in the striker, as well as Championship sides Bournemouth, Norwich City and Watford.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has yet to make a decision on Brewster’s future. The player has impressed during preseason and it would be a surprise if he decided to let him go on a permanent deal.
