Latest Sheffield United Injury Report For The Week

Sheffield United suffered two injury problems in the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace yesterday afternoon. John Fleck and Callum Robinson both had to be substituted due to leg injuries at Bramall Lane.

Fleck is believed to have sustained a thigh injury midway through the first half and was replaced by Luke Freeman on 29 minutes. The 27-year-old will be assessed by the club’s medical staff before a decision is made later this week.

Robinson had a similar problem to Fleck in the second half and was replaced by Oli McBurnie on 56 minutes. Following the match, the Irish international downplayed the seriousness of the injury:

The forward’s knock will also be looked at before deciding whether he can take part in the Blades’ third match of the new campaign. United play Leicester City at home next Saturday.

Fleck and Robinson look to be manager Chris Wilder’s only injury concerns heading into the match against the Foxes.
