Latest Sheffield United Injury News Ahead Of This Weekend’s Game Against Chelsea

Sheffield United will be without at least three players for this weekend’s trip to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Blades have long term injury concerns in regards to Lys Mousset, John Fleck and Jack O’Connell who will all be missing when Chris Wilder‘s side line up against the Blues.

Mousset has had a foot injury which has plagued him since the start of the season and, while it was originally anticipated he would be out for longer, the Frenchman could now return to action at the start of December.

Fleck picked up a lower back injury in training in October, and his estimated return date is likely to be after the next international break later this month.

O’Connell, meanwhile, is not expected to play again this season. The centre-back has a serious knee injury which he sustained back in September. He has had surgery and is currently undergoing rehab.
