Burnley V Sheffield United: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After the worst start to a top-flight campaign in English football history, Sheffield United go to Turf Moor tomorrow knowing they need to get the three points against Burnley.

The Clarets have been in good form recently, after wins over Arsenal and Wolves, but a defeat against Leeds last time out will hopefully dent their confidence and give the Blades more of a chance of securing their first win this season.

In terms of team news, United have fitness doubts over Oli McBurnie (knock) and Oli Burke (back) while the likes of Sander Berge (hamstring), Kean Bryan (calf) and Jack O’Connell (knee) are all unavailable. John Lundstram is serving the second game of his three-match suspension after his red card against Brighton.

Sheffield United’s Predicted XI:

Ramsdale, Baldock, Basham, Egan, Robinson, Stevens, Ampadu, Osborn, McGoldrick, Mousset, Brewster

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has five players on the treatment table heading into tomorrow’s match. Dwight McNeil (groin) and Robbie Brady (hamstring) are doubts while Matej Vydra (back), Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Jack Cork have been ruled out.

Burnley’s Predicted XI:

Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Benson, Brownhill, Westwood, McNeil, Wood, Barnes

The bookmakers have the home side as the favourites with Betway pricing them at 7/5 for the win. A draw is 11/5 with 888 Sport while a Blades victory is 47/20 at Unibet.

Predicted Score – 0-0
