Former WWE Star Mick Foley has accepted Billy Sharp and Sheffield United’s invitation to come and watch the Blades in action.
The club captain has been using Foley’s “Mr Socko” in his goal celebrations in recent months so the veteran decided to see if the former wrestler would consider visiting Bramall Lane.
To many supporters’ surprise, he accepted, and the reaction on Twitter has been enthusiastic:

Foley will be in attendance when Sheffield United face Brentford at home on the 12th March.
Since retiring, Foley has been doing a standup comedy show, and the club have also decided that Bramall Lane will host a live Q&A event with Foley the day after he watches his first Blades game.
United’s promotion challenge has certainly been full of incident, including the dramatic 3-3 draw against Aston Villa last time out, but Foley’s visit will add another dimension to what has been an extraordinary season already.
