Wilder Provides An Injury Update Ahead Of Sheffield United’s Game Against Derby

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has confirmed that he has a full-strength squad ahead of their trip to Derby tomorrow.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference yesterday, the Blades boss says he is relieved that the club came out of international break unscathed:

“The biggest thing for any manager is always that they come back without picking up any knocks, and none of the lads have done that. So we’re at full-strength.”

Wilder will be hoping that his side pick up from where they left off following the internationals.  Four consecutive wins in the league have moved United to the top of the Championship table.

Excitement is certainly growing that the Blades can challenge for promotion this campaign, but their credentials will certainly be tested in the coming days.

Derby will provide a stern test at Pride Park, and Wilder’s team will then face pre-season title favourites Stoke City at Bramall Lane on Tuesday evening.

Garry Rowett has begun to turn things around for the Potters after a poor start to the campaign, with his team having won their last two games.
