West Brom V Sheffield United: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Despite it being relatively early on in the Premier League season, Sheffield United’s clash against West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday is already looking like a proverbial ‘six-pointer’.

Neither team has won a league game so far this campaign, and if the Baggies win this weekend, it would move them five points ahead of the Blades, who currently sit rooted to the bottom of the table.

Manager Chris Wilder could have Lys Mousset back after a number of months out with a foot injury. Wingback Enda Stevens (knee) remains a doubt while Jack O’Connell (knee) is likely to be out for the rest of the season.

Sheffield United’s Predicted XI To Face West Brom:

Ramsdale, Baldock, Basham, Egan, Ampadu, Lowe, Berge, Norwood, Fleck, Brewster, McGoldrick

West Brom boss Slaven Bilic will be without Jake Livermore and Kieran Gibbs (virus) while Sam Field is still struggling with a knee injury.

West Brom’s Predicted XI:

Johnstone, Furlong, Ajayi, Ivanovic, Bartley, Townsend, Pereira, Sawyers, Gallagher, Diangana, Ahearne-Grant

The bookies have made this one too close to call. The Baggies are 8/5 to win at William Hill while a draw is 9/4 with Bet365. A victory for Sheffield United is 2/1 at Unibet.

Predicted Score – 0-0
