Two Sheffield United Stars Named In Wales Squad For Huge World Cup Playoff

Sheffield United pair Rhys Norrington-Davies and Adam Davies have been selected by Wales manager Robert Page in his squad for the World Cup playoff against Austria later this month.

Norrington-Davies has featured prominently at left wingback under manager Paul Heckingbottom in recent weeks, whilst Davies was brought in as United’s only permanent signing during the January transfer window.

The two Blades stars will be joined in the 26-man squad by the likes of Liverpool’s Neco Williams, Chelsea’s Ethan Ampadu, Tottenham’s Ben Davies & Joe Rodon, as well as Rangers’ Aaron Ramsey.

Gareth Bale has been included despite the fact that he has only played two first-team matches since September, following a number of fitness setbacks. Here is the squad in full:
