Tuanzebe Predicts Whether Henderson Will Return And Make An Impact At United

Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe expects Dean Henderson to continue his excellent form when he returns to Old Trafford.

The Blades number one’s loan spell at Bramall Lane ends in June, and although manager Chris Wilder has hinted that he would like to see the keeper extend his stay at the Yorkshire club, he has admitted it is probably unlikely.

Asked about Henderson’s future, Tuanzebe predicts that he will return to the fold at United without any issues:

“Dean’s a big character and I’m sure when he comes back he’ll just slot right back in and continue from where he left off. He’s doing very well at Sheffield United and it just shows, coming from the academy, he’s demonstrating what he’s learnt and practising it week in, week out.”

Tuanzebe has experience of it himself, having spent the best part of 18 months away on loan at Aston Villa before returning to Manchester last summer.

However, while the defender certainly has competition for his place, the situation for Henderson is slightly different with David De Gea blocking his path to the first team.

The 23-year-old will likely have to make a big decision on his future in the summer, and it remains to be seen whether Sheffield United will be in contention for his signature.
