Sheffield United have made a bid in the region of £20m for Swansea striker Oli McBurnie, according to reports in the UK.

The Blades have previously had a £15m offer turned down for the Scottish international but manager Chris Wilder is determined to secure the forward’s signature.

If Swansea accept the bid for McBurnie, it would see the Yorkshire club break their transfer record for the third time this summer.

Manchester United have reportedly had a bid for Benfica centre-back Ruben Dias turned down.

The Portuguese international has a £59m release clause but the Red Devils’ offer was said to be well below that figure.

Newcastle have agreed an €11m (£10m) fee with Paris Saint-Germain for defender Stanley N’Soki, according to reports in the French media.

PSG have asked for a 20% sell-on clause in the deal, and personal terms between the Magpies and the 20-year-old have yet to be agreed.
