Sheffield United have entered the battle to sign Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack, according to reports in the English media.

The 25-year-old is said to be keen on a move away from Ewood Park this summer, with the Blades, Aston Villa and West Brom all said to be weighing up bids for the playmaker.

Stoke are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle.

The 28-year-old scored 24 goals for West Brom on loan last season but the Baggies opted against signing the forward on a permanent basis.

Gayle is said to be valued at £20m by the Magpies and Stoke would likely have to break their transfer record in order to secure the striker’s services.
