Transfer Round Up: £9.5m Frenchman Set For Blades Medical, Spurs Plot Record £70m Bid And Everton Table £33.8m Offer For Portuguese Ace

Bournemouth forward Lys Mousset has travelled up to Yorkshire ahead of his £9.5m move to Sheffield United, according to reports in the English media.

The Frenchman will undergo a medical prior to finalising his move to the Blades. He will be manager Chris Wilder’s fifth summer signing following the arrival of Ravel Morrison yesterday.

Tottenham are reportedly preparing to break their transfer record for the second time as they look to secure the services of Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Spurs spent £55m on Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele earlier this month, but Lo Celso could cost as much as £70m.

Everton have made a £33.8million offer for Lille forward Rafael Leao, according to reports in France.

The Toffees, however, face fierce competition for the Portuguese Under 21 international’s signature with Aston Villa, Valencia and Napoli also having made bids for the 20-year-old.

Leao only moved to Lille on a free transfer from Sporting last summer but has made a big impression during his first season in France.
