Sevilla have entered the race to sign Brentford striker Neal Maupay, according to reports in France.

Sheffield United are interested in the Frenchman but the player’s agent is said to be in Spain to hold discussions with the La Liga side.

Brentford are believed to be holding out for at least €10m (£9m) but he could go for a lot more with interest from both England and Spain.

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland.

Both the Midlands club and Bournemouth have made enquiries about the England international, but it is believed that the Villans will be the first to make an offer worth £23m this week.

Leeds will not sell either Jack Clarke or Kalvin Phillips this summer, according to reports.

Tottenham are interested in Clarke, who is said to be valued at £20m while Aston Villa would be prepared to pay approximately £14m for Phillips.
