Sheffield United are willing to pay £15m for Brentford striker Neal Maupay, according to reports in the English media.
The Bees had been holding out for £22m but they have lowered their price tag, which has led to the Blades making their move.
Maupay is said to be keen on a move to Bramall Lane with Aston Villa having pulled out of the race for the Frenchman.
Bournemouth have sewn up the £4m signing of right-back Jack Stacey from Luton Town.
The Cherries fought off Celtic for the defender’s signature and is the Cherries second signing of the summer after snapping up Lloyd Kelly from Bristol City.
Burnley are very close to confirming Jay Rodriguez’s move from West Brom, according to reports.
The Clarets have triggered the 29-year-old’s £10m buyout clause, which was activated after the Baggies’ failure to gain promotion last season.
It will be Rodriguez’s second spell at Turf Moor after coming through the youth ranks at the Lancashire club.
