Sheffield United are interested in signing Everton defender Ashley Williams, according to reports in England.

The 34-year-old spent last season on loan at Stoke City but he is leaving Goodison Park this summer and will be available for nothing.

The Blades are also after Carlisle winger Liam McCarron. The 18-year-old has been attracting interest from other teams including Wolves, Leeds and Derby.

Leeds will reportedly look to revive a move for Matej Vydra. The Yorkshire club were keen on signing the Czech forward last summer before he moved to Burnley.

However, after failing to establish himself at Turf Moor, the Clarets are now ready to offload the striker. The Premier League side are looking for £10m which could put off Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough are both planning a move for Kadeem Harris, according to reports.

The Cardiff winger will be leaving the Welsh club when his contract expires at the end of this month and can move on a free transfer.
