Tottenham V Sheffield United: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Sheffield United continue to defy expectations with their 3-0 win over Burnley last weekend pushing Chris Wilder’s side up to sixth place in the table.

Nobody would have predicted that the Blades would be above Tottenham, who they face on Saturday afternoon. Spurs are currently 11th, three points off United after their 1-1 draw against Everton on Sunday.

It will be a difficult away trip for the Blades but Chris Wilder only has one injury concern ahead of the match. Centre-back John Egan is carrying a knock and had to be replaced by Phil Jagielka for the final ten minutes against Burnley.

Sheffield United’s Predicted XI To Face Tottenham:

Henderson, Baldock, Basham, Jagielka, O’Connell, Stevens, Lundstram, Norwood, Fleck, McGoldrick, Mousset

Spurs have three players currently on the sidelines. Jan Vertonghen (hamstring) and Hugo Lloris (dislocated elbow) have both been ruled out while Erik Lamela (thigh) is a major doubt for the game.

Tottenham’s Predicted XI:

Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Alli, Ndombele, Sissoko, Eriksen, Kane, Son

The bookmakers have made the home side the favourite with Betway pricing Spurs at 13/20 for the win. A draw is 3/1 with Sky Bet while a victory for Sheffield United is 5/1 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 1-1
