Tottenham Had Scouts Watching 15 Goal Sheffield United Ace Last Week

Tottenham had representatives in the stands to watch Sheffield United forward Iliman Ndiaye in action against Preston North End, according to reports.

The Senegalese international scored and provided an assist during the last home match of the season as the Blades secured a 4-1 win.

Ndiaye ended the campaign with 15 goals in all competitions, as well as 12 assists, so it is not a surprise that his performances are turning the heads of Premier League teams.

Everton were heavily linked with the 23-year-old during the January transfer window, and the Toffees may well compete with Spurs for the player’s signature this summer.

With Ndiaye having just a year left on his contract, United have a difficult decision to make on his future. Manager Paul Heckingbottom has already stated that he wants to keep him at the club but he may not be given a say if a large enough bid is received for the Blades ace.
