Sky Sports Pundit Predicts The Outcome As The Blades Face Brighton

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas is expecting Sheffield United to come out on top when they face Brighton at Bramall Lane tomorrow afternoon.

The Blades continue to defy expectations, with Chris Wilder’s men now just two points off Chelsea in fourth, and Nicholas is backing them to win against the struggling Seagulls:

“I keep praising the way Brighton play, but I think they are in free-fall at the minute. Sheffield United will make sense of this game and come away with the points.”

Nicholas has gone for a 2-1 scoreline, which seems a fair prediction considering the two teams’ respective form at the moment.

Brighton last won against Bournemouth on December 28th, and their away form has been woeful, with just nine points from 13 games on the road.

With that being the case, United supporters should go into the match this weekend with a lot of confidence. Although the Blades haven’t been as solid at home as they have been away this campaign, they have still been pretty watertight at the back, conceding only 12 goals in front of their own fans. If they keep a clean sheet tomorrow, they will be confident of scoring and securing the three points.
