Sky Sports Pundit Predicts The One Thing That Could Let Sheffield United Down Against West Ham

Charlie Nicholas does not expect Sheffield United to get a result when they travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham tomorrow afternoon.

The Sky Sports pundit was very complimentary about Chris Wilder’s ability to organise his side, but he thinks the Blades’ lack of goals will let them down when they play the Hammers:

“Sheffield United, as we saw against Arsenal, are very good in their shape and in energy and togetherness. They are always at you, with four or five runners too. They have no real star qualities as individuals, but everybody buys into Chris Wilder’s plan.”

“It is raw honesty and desire that gets them there. The Blades don’t score many, though, and I think West Ham will be angry after last week.”

Nicholas has gone for a 2-0 scoreline to the home side. On the one hand, it is a surprising prediction considering West Ham’s home form and United’s excellent away record.

However, it must be said, that Nicholas has a point when it comes to the Blades’ inability to score goals. Although they have the joint best defensive record in the Premier League at the moment, they have also scored the third-fewest (8).

It is, therefore, expected to be a tight, cagey affair against the Irons tomorrow, and Wilder will be hoping to snatch a point or a scrappy win.
