Sheffield United vs Crystal Palace – Match Preview, Preidicted XI, Match Odds

Sheffield United host Crystal Palace on Sunday in what will be the Blades’ first Premier League home game in 12 years.

Both sides have started the season with a draw, with the Blades scoring a late equaliser against Bournemouth last week whilst Palace played out a goalless draw at home with Everton.

It’s fair to say that the two sides will be equally as nervous about the fight for survival this season, making this fixture all the more entertaining by adding a must-win factor.

United have no injury concerns ahead of the game, with only Lys Mousset said to be far from match fitness. As for Palace on the other hand will be without James Tomkins, Mamadou Sakho and Jeffrey Schlupp.

However, all eyes will undoubtedly be on Wilfried Zaha. The Ivorian international started on the bench last week following his push to exit Selhurt Park, but it is likely Roy Hodgson will start the forward this time around.

It will be a tough ask for the Blades to snatch a win against a very organised Palace side, but after Billy Sharpe’s heroics last weekend, many will believe it is achievable.
