Sheffield United V West Ham: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has doubts over three players going into Sunday’s match against West Ham. Rhian Brewster picked up a muscular problem when playing for England’s Under 21s and is currently being assessed by the Blades’ medical team.

John Egan sustained a head injury playing for the Republic of Ireland, while Enda Stevens sat out the international fixtures due to a knee problem. All three will face a late fitness test ahead of the weekend’s game.

Lys Mousset (foot), John Fleck (back) and Jack O’Connell (knee) are all ruled out but Ethan Ampadu will be available once again after being ineligible to play against his parent club Chelsea last time out.

Sheffield United’s Predicted XI To Face West Ham:

Ramsdale, Baldock, Basham, Egan, Stevens, Lowe, Berge, Ampadu, Lundstram, Brewster, McGoldrick

Hammers boss David Moyes has two players who remain doubts for the game with Angelo Ogbonna (groin) and Mark Noble (hip) still working their way back to fitness. Andriy Yarmolenko is unavailable after testing positive for the virus while Michail Antonio is unlikely to feature as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

West Ham’s Predicted XI:

Fabianski, Coufal, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku, Soucek, Rice, Bowen, Haller, Fornals

The bookies have made West Ham very slight favourites with BetVictor pricing them at 6/4 for the win. A draw is 47/20 with Unibet while a Sheffield United victory is 21/10 at Bet365.
