Sheffield United V Brighton: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After their relegation was confirmed following the defeat to Wolves last weekend, Sheffield United caretaker manager Paul Heckingbottom will have to find a way to motivate the players for the last six games of the season.

They are facing a Brighton side on Saturday who could very easily have beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge midweek so this will be a tough game to navigate.

The Blades have six injury concerns with Chris Basham (calf), Sander Berge (fitness) both unlikely to feature. Jack O’Connell (knee) and Jack Robinson are unavailable, while it has been confirmed that Oli McBurnie (foot) and captain Billy Sharp (thigh) are out for the season.

Sheffield United’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Ramsdale, Baldock, Ampadu, Egan, Bryan, Stevens, Fleck, Norwood, Osborn, McGoldrick, Brewster

Seagulls boss Graham Potter has doubts over Percy Tau (virus) and Florin Andone (knee) while Tariq Lamptey (hamstring) and Solly March (knee) have been ruled out. Ben White is suspended after being sent off against Chelsea.

Brighton’s Predicted XI:

Sanchez, Gross, Veltman, Dunk, Webster, Moder, Bissouma, Lallana, Trossard, Maupay, Welbeck

The bookies have Brighton as the favourites with Bet 365 currently pricing them at 3/4 for the win. A draw is 27/10 with Unibet while a victory for the Blades is 9/2 at William Hill.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to Brighton
