The Premier League fixture list is now live – as such, we can reveal who Sheffield United will play next season and when.
Last season, United played against teams such as Wigan Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United – in the upcoming campaign, they will take on the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Premier League is currently stronger than ever – as such, the Blades will face a tough battle to remain in the top flight of English football.
There are three fixtures that every fan looks out for – who they will play on the first day of the season, the last day of the season and Boxing Day. Without any further ado, let’s take a look.
Sheffield United key fixtures
On the first day of the 2022/23 Premier League season, the Blades will take on Crystal Palace at home. While this is a winnable game for United, it is something of a riddle at present – Palace are in the hunt for a new manager, so Paul Heckingbottom will be unaware of how the Eagles may line up.
On Boxing Day, Sheffield United will take on fellow promoted side Luton Town. The Hatters are currently favourites for relegation – moreover, they could struggle away from Kenilworth Road.
On the final day of the 2023/24 season, United will play Tottenham Hotspur, once again at Bramall Lane. United will be hoping that this game is not a vital one when it comes to avoid relegation – for all their troubles, Spurs are always a tough prospect.
