Round Up – Sheffield United Loan Star Could Make Permanent Move, Burnley Bid For West Brom Ace, And Everton Eye Birmingham Striker

Sheffield United striker Ched Evans could make his loan move to Fleetwood Town permanent in the summer, according to reports.

The 30-year-old has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the Fisherman this season, and manager Joey Barton says he wants to keep the Welshman:

“He’s a great player, becoming a real leader in the dressing room. I’d love to have him”

Burnley have reportedly made a bid to re-sign former player Jay Rodriguez. Reports in Italy suggest that the Clarets have already had a £12million offer rejected by West Brom for the forward.

The 29-year-old started his career at the Lancashire club before making the move to Southampton in 2012. He has scored 19 Championship goals this campaign.

Everton have joined Southampton and Burnley in pursuing Birmingham City striker Che Adams. The 22-year-old has been in stunning form for Garry Monk’s side since the beginning of the season.

He is just four goals behind Norwich’s Teemu Pukki at the top of the Championship’s goalscoring charts, helping the Blues steer clear of relegation trouble despite their nine-point deduction.
