Round Up: Blades Target £1.8m Rated Croatian, Arsenal Eye Reading Ace And Hull Prepare Loan Offer For Liverpool Starlet

Simon Sluga

Sheffield United are targeting HNK Rijeka goalkeeper Simon Sluga, according to reports in the English media.

The Croatian is believed to be available for just £1.8m, but the Blades will face competition from the likes of Hertha Berlin, Derby and Norwich City.

Arsenal are said to be among a host of clubs keeping tabs on Reading forward Danny Loader. Chelsea, Juventus, Wolves, Southampton and Leicester are also looking at the 18-year-old.

The striker made 22 appearances for the Royals last season, scoring once and providing one assist. He has an impressive record at youth level and teams believe he has the potential to improve further.

Hull want Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn on loan, according to reports. The Reds are open to sending out the Welshman to a Championship club in order for him to gain first-team experience.

He struggled with the Blades last campaign but the Tigers think he could make more of an impact with them.
