Ramsdale’s Transfer Stance Revealed As Arsenal Line Up Offer For 40M Rated Shot Stopper

Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is expected to tell new Blades boss Slavisa Jokanovic that he is happy to stay at Bramall Lane, according to reports in the local media.

The 23-year-old is currently on holiday after being on duty with England at the European Championships but, on his return, he is unlikely to force through a move away from the Yorkshire club.

Ramsdale has been heavily linked with a transfer to Arsenal in recent weeks, and reports have suggested that the Gunners are preparing a formal offer for the shot-stopper.

It is believed that the London club are hoping to get a deal done for around £30m, but that is a lot lower than his £40m asking price. Whether that gap can be bridged, we shall have to wait and see.

From Ramsdale’s perspective, though, it appears he is in no rush to leave United, after only returning to the club last summer following a three-and-a-half-year stint at Bournemouth.
