Every football fan is an aspiring professional player but one Sheffield United fan should clearly be told to stick to his day job after making a fool out of himself against Brentford last night.
When the ball went out for a throw-in, one supporter decided it would be funny to hoof the ball away from the Bees defender Julian Jeanvier.
It didn’t go quite to plan as his kick ended up going nowhere while he ended up on the ground, much to the amusement of the supporters around him:

He should be invited to the training ground as a guest of honour. And for some training lessons. Failing that get him on the pitch at HT v Bristol with his laughing mate for some more comedy. ??

The game itself saw a ten-man United side come out 2-0 winners, keeping their automatic promotion hopes very much alive.
With Norwich City playing this evening, Chris Wilder’s men currently sit two points off table-toppers Leeds. The Blades head to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon for a crucial game in the promotion race.
