Charlie Nicholas expects Sheffield United to give Tottenham a real test when the Blades travel to London for the Premier League clash tomorrow afternoon.

The Sky Sports pundit was very impressed with how Chris Wilder’s side defeated Burnley at Bramall Lane last weekend and he is backing the away side to cause Spurs a number of problems:

“Sheffield United battered Burnley and they played superbly. They squeeze together, drop off together, and this style of football upsets the rhythm of the bigger teams. I expect them to unsettle Tottenham and this will be reflected in the result.”

Nicholas has gone for a 1-1 draw tomorrow, which seems like a decent prediction considering United’s impressive away record in the league this campaign. They have yet to lose on their travels having picked up a win at Everton, and draws at Chelsea and West Ham.

In contrast, Tottenham have had an inconsistent start to the season, having lost four games already, but it must be said that their home record is pretty good. They have won three of their five games on their own turf but they did lose to a struggling Newcastle side, while in Europe they succumbed to a 7-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich.
