Sheffield United fans were over the moon as their team picked up another win on the road and took one step closer to the Premier League.
While the majority of Sheffield United fans expressed feelings of both joy and relief, others adopted a more critical approach. They also showed concern at the injuries sustained by Iliman Ndiaye and Manchester City loanee James McAtee – both men were brought off as a precaution.
Here’s what the Blades massive had to say about the game against Reading on Twitter.
Much needed win and confidence boost for Saturday now. Massive result.

Sheffield United largely dominated the proceedings, as Reading offered little in response – former Liverpool and West Ham striker Andy Carroll came the closest to scoring with a headed effort.
It was a poor game and United weren’t perfect – as exemplified by the mixed nature of the response on Twitter – but a win is a win.
In the end, it was Ndiaye who broke the deadlock – the Royals couldn’t find a response, giving the Blades a much-needed victory. They’re now seven points above Middlesbrough, managed by Manchester United icon Michael Carrick.
Can Sheffield United press on and win promotion to the Premier League once again? They’re certainly in a good position – but they have some tough games on the horizon, including a game against league leaders Burnley.
