Legendary Former Blades Boss Tips United For Title Despite It Being Completely Mathematically Impossible

Outspoken former Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock has dumb-founded not only Chris Wilder and the Blades squad with his recent statements but also his current team Cardiff City.

Cardiff City are actually in the 2nd automatic promotion place at the moment.

The BlueBirds look likely to finish in that spot bar a crazy sequence of results in the Championship.

Warnock announced in a recent press conference:

“Sheffield United are almost certainly going to win the Championship and I fully expect them to clinch the title in the next few games. The signing of James Wilson from Man United has transformed them despite him only scoring 1 goal in 7 games”.

“I have always liked the way Chris Wilder has had the Blades playing this season and the title is only what they deserve.”

When a Cardiff staff member discreetly pointed out that it was mathematically impossible for Sheffield United to win the title and it was virtually impossible for them to overhaul Cardiff City Warnock replied:

“Don’t bother me with semantics the Blades will be the Champions fairly and squarely – mark my words”

So it seems that either Warnock is not good at mental arithmetic or he starting to show the early signs of dementia – hopefully the former obviously.

So it will be interesting to see what both a bemused and confused current Blades boss Chris Wilder and former Blades boss Neil Warnock have to say after Sheffield United face Cardiff City at Bramall Lane this Monday night.

This is a satirical piece – have a laugh on April Fool’s Day.
