Latest Sheffield United Injury Report: Updates On Fleck, Lowe And Burke

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has confirmed that midfielder John Fleck is expected to be out for between four to six weeks due to a back injury.

The Scottish international was absent for the 1-1 draw against Fulham yesterday, which also saw left wingback Max Lowe having to be substituted just 20 minutes into the game after sustaining a concussion. FA protocol stipulates he will be out for 14 days, meaning that he won’t feature against Liverpool or Manchester City before the end of the month.

Another injury concern is Oli Burke. The forward was an unused substitute at the weekend but he was not risked as he is currently carrying a knock. It is hoped that he will have fully recovered ahead of the trip to Anfield this weekend.

Lys Mousset is still sidelined with a foot injury, while reserve goalkeeper Simon Moore is undergoing treatment on a broken finger. Jack O’Connell is unlikely to return before the end of the season due to a knee problem.
