Latest Sheffield United Injury Report: Stevens Join Seven Others On The Treatment Table

Sheffield United wingback Enda Stevens has withdrawn from international duty with the Republic of Ireland following the 1-0 defeat to Luxembourg.

The 30-year-old played the full 90 minutes on Saturday evening and no indication has been given as to what type of injury the defender has picked up. It will be hoped that it is only a minor issue.

Steven joins a long injury list at Bramall Lane, which includes international teammate John Egan. The centre-back is back out on the grass once again after a foot injury but he isn’t expected to return to the fold in the short term.

Sander Berge was believed to be close to making his comeback from a tendon injury but it has been confirmed that the Norwegian is not likely to make his comeback anytime soon.

Billy Sharp (hip) and Chris Basham (knock) are major doubts for this weekend’s game against Leeds while Jack O’Connell (knee), Jack Robinson and Jack Rodwell are all still out of contention.
