Latest Sheffield United Injury Report Ahead Of The Game Against Arsenal

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has confirmed that three players will face late fitness tests ahead of the game against Arsenal at Bramall Lane on Monday night.

Oli McBurnie had to pull out of international duty with a knee injury and is a doubt for the clash against the Gunners. John Fleck also picked up a knock whilst making his debut for Scotland in the 4-0 defeat to Russia.

David McGoldrick was included in the Republic of Ireland squad for their games against Georgia and Switzerland but he did not take part in either game due to a groin problem. The striker has not featured for the Blades since the loss to Southampton last month.

Wilder also raised concerns about trio Callum Robinson, Enda Stevens and John Egan following their exertions playing for the Republic of Ireland:

“The international boys will be back in today, so fingers crossed that they come back healthy – and early indications are that they are okay.”

Like Wilder, Blades fans will be hoping that all three report back fit and ready to face Arsenal next week.
