Premier League-bound Sheffield United are still on their victory tour – in their next game, they will take on Neil Warnock’s Huddersfield Town. Will it be a happy homecoming for the former Blades boss?
The Blades will be without key players such as Ben Osborn, Rhys Norrington-Davies and Enda Stevens for their game against Preston. Jack O’Connell is also set to miss out on the fixture, as he continues to recover from his two-year-long injury.
In their last game, United thumped Preston North End by a score of 4-1 at Bramall Lane. In a thoroughly one-sided affair, the Blades’ goalscorers were Anel Ahmedhodzic, John Fleck, Iliman Ndiaye and Oli McBurnie.
Huddersfield, on the other hand, were also victorious in their last game, as they picked up a massive win away at Cardiff City. The result saw the Terriers pull three points clear of the relegation zone – but they aren’t safe just yet.
When the two teams last came to blows in the Championship, all the way back in early December, United won by a score of 1-0. In that game, Billy Sharp scored the only goal of the game – will the outcome be any different now that Huddersfield have Warnock steering the ship?
