Farke Makes Surprising PL Return Demand As He Backs The Blades And Liverpool

Norwich manager Daniel Farke believes the Premier League season should be completed, despite the ongoing global health crisis.

Many clubs have raised concerns about trying to play football fixtures during these difficult times, with some even suggesting that the campaign could be cancelled or forced to end prematurely.

However, Farke believes his club, along with Sheffield United and Liverpool, deserve to be given the chance of completing the season:

“When I think about Liverpool, for example, I think we’ve all got the feeling that for their great work, they deserve the chance to win the title.”

“A team like Sheffield United, they deserve to fight for Europe after a great season and for us, we deserve to work on our little miracle to stay in this league, we would have had home games and in the FA Cup, we have a great chance.”

The comments coming from the Canaries boss are a surprise with the Norfolk club having the most to gain if the campaign was ruled ‘null and void.’

Norwich currently sit bottom of the Premier League table, six points off safety heading into the final nine fixtures. There is some talk that relegation-threatened clubs would be open to continuing at neutral venues if the threat of the drop is removed.

Even so, Falke’s remarks suggest he’d also be keen to pull off a remarkable escape from relegation so it appears he is being completely genuine in what he is saying.
