EPL Rival Are Planning January Loan Bid For 23.5M Sheffield United Star

Nottingham Forest are preparing to make a loan offer for Sheffield United striker Rhian Brewster, according to reports in the English media.

The East Midlands club’s manager Steve Cooper has spoken about Brewster recently, and it is believed that he wants to be reunited with the player he previously managed at Swansea.

Brewster himself is also believed to be a fan of Cooper’s, with the coach having played an important role in his development as a youngster.

Whether the Blades would consider loaning out their record signing to a divisional rival, though, it is debatable.

Brewster has struggled since his £23.5m move from Liverpool last year, but he got his first league goal for United in the 3-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers last weekend.

With that being the case, it would be strange to let go of the 21-year-old now manager Slavisa Jokanovic has finally begun to unlock the forward’s potential.
