David Prutton Predicts The Scoreline As The Blades Take On Blackburn Rovers

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton is expecting Sheffield United to boost their playoff hopes by securing another victory against fellow promotion contenders Blackburn this evening.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side have been in excellent form recently, having not lost since mid-January and, after their 4-0 win over Swansea at the weekend, Prutton believes they will grab three more points tonight:

“What a clinical display that was from Sheffield United against Swansea on Saturday. They are right in the mix now and top six should be an absolute minimum. Blackburn have had a bit of a break after their game was called off so late against Millwall. It might give them a bit of a chance to rally after their recent dip. But I think the Blades are too good right now.”

Prutton has gone with a 2-0 win for the Blades, which seems like a good prediction when you look at the form of the two teams heading into tonight’s encounter.

Blackburn have won just one of their last six matches, having failed to score in their last four. In contrast, United have conceded just one goal in their last seven matches.

The Blades could move up to fourth place with a victory, cementing their place in the top six. Considering the lack of new signings last month, Heckingbottom has done an outstanding job getting the club’s season back on track.
