Chelsea And PSG Join Pursuit Of Sheffield United Loan Star

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in snapping up Dean Henderson in the summer, according to ESPN UK. The Sheffield United loanee returns to his parent club Manchester United in July and it appears the Blades face fierce competition to sign him on a permanent basis.

Henderson has been in superb form for Chris Wilder’s side this season, keeping nine clean sheets in 25 league games. The Yorkshire club have the second-best defensive record in the top flight, and a lot of that is down to the 22-year-old in goal.

Manchester United are said to be keen on keeping the England Under 21 international, but with David De Gea likely to remain the club’s first-choice goalkeeper for the foreseeable future, the Blades loanee may consider leaving for more first-team opportunities.

Chelsea are reportedly looking for a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga after Frank Lampard dropped the Spaniard for the game against Leicester earlier this month. PSG, meanwhile, are keen on finding a long term successor to Keylor Navas.
