Brighton V Sheffield United: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After an excellent 2-0 win against Aston Villa last weekend, Sheffield United will go into their clash against Brighton at the Amex tomorrow in high spirits.

The Blades have had two more days than the Seagulls to prepare after Graham Potter’s side drew 1-1 with rivals Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

United boss Chris Wilder should have forward Callum Robinson available after the Republic of Ireland international missed the victory versus Villa due to illness. However, he will be without John Fleck, who is suspended after picking up five bookings.

Sheffield United’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Henderson, Baldock, Basham, Egan, O’Connell, Stevens, Lundstram, Norwood, Freeman, McGoldrick, Mousset

Brighton will be able to welcome back Aaron Connolly who missed the trip to Selhurst Park with a dead leg. Solly March (groin) and Jose Izquierdo (knee) remain out of contention for the weekend.

Brighton’s Predicted XI:

Ryan, Montoya, Webster, Dunk, Burn, Propper, Stephens, Mooy, Gross, Trossard, Maupay

The bookies have found this one difficult to call. The Seagulls are slight favourites with Betfred pricing them at 5/4 to get the win. A draw is 23/10 with Sky Bet while a Blades victory is 27/10 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to Sheffield United
