Blades Told To Pay £23m If They Want To Land Guinean Midfield Enforcer

Sheffield United will have to pay €25m (£23m) if they want to sign Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara this summer, according to reports in Greece.

A number of Premier League teams are said to have taken a look at the Guinean international but the Blades are believed to be the only team who have sent a scout to watch him in action this season.

The Yorkshire club apparently had a representative in the stands when Olympiakos faced Arsenal in the Europa League last month. The 23-year-old played every minute of both legs as the Greek side progressed to the last 16 of the competition.

Camara is reportedly weighing up his options in regards to his future club. With football having been suspended due to the pandemic, it is said he will only make a decision about a move when games get underway once again.

The Guinean is a holding midfielder by trade, having scored two goals and contributed one assist in 39 games for Olympiakos this campaign.
