Blades Stars Set For Training Ground Return As Premier League Clubs Step Up Plans

Sheffield United players will be back at the club’s Shirecliffe training ground this week, according to reports in the local media.

The Blades have not trained since March 7th  but stars will be given individual training sessions and will ensure that everything is done in accordance with strict social distancing measures.

Some other Premier League teams have already returned to training with the likes of Arsenal, West Ham and Brighton recalling their players for sessions yesterday.

Tottenham, meanwhile, came back today while the other 15 Premier League clubs are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks.

Reports suggest that the Premier League want to resume matches by June, but with players having not played first-team games for a number of weeks, a pre-season will be required to get them back in shape.

Sheffield United handed their stars individual training plans to follow at home, but it is not quite the same as the level of team training they get at Shirecliffe.
