Sheffield United loanee James McAtee is attracting the attention of seven different Premier League teams, according to reports.

The England Under 21 international has been an influential figure in helping the Blades seal promotion, but he will return to his parent club Manchester City this summer.

It is believed that Brighton, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Brentford, Leeds United and Bournemouth, as well as Premier League newcomers Burnley, are considering making offers for McAtee.

United boss Paul Heckingbottom would clearly like to keep hold of the 20-year-old, with the midfielder having scored eight goals and provided four assists in 41 matches for the Blades this campaign.

Reports have suggested that City have been impressed with the way the Yorkshire club have taken care of McAtee during his time at Bramall Lane, but that might not be enough to win the race for the player’s signature if he becomes available for another loan spell next season.
