Sheffield United are in talks with West Brom about signing Oliver Burke as part of the deal that could see Callum Robinson move in the other direction.
The Scottish international spent last season out on loan at Alaves and he has never really established himself at the Baggies despite the Midlands club paying £15m to RB Leipzig for the player three years ago.
Blades boss Chris Wilder obviously sees something in the former Celtic loanee to feel he is worth taking a gamble on, and he appears willing to offload Robinson in order to get his man.
Robinson only joined United from Preston last summer, but he failed to make an impact during his first six months at Bramall Lane and was quickly loaned out to West Brom.
With Slaven Bilic’s side now keen to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent basis, it seems a swap deal could suit both parties.
