Blades in talks with Premier League clubs over loan transfers

Sheffield United have reportedly enquired to host of Premier League clubs about bringing players in on loan next season.

Last season the Blades narrowly missed out on the play-off places in the Championship, but certainly laid some good foundations to build on for the coming season.

After getting manager Chris Wilder to pen a new three-year deal, United can start to prepare for the future, and the Sheffield Star claims these plans have already begun taking place – with the side enquiring about a number of Premier League stars on loan.

Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman is allegedly wanted back on loan at Bramall Lane, and Chris Wilder reportedly has strong links with both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, meaning fans could expect players from those clubs on loan.

It remains to be seen who Wilder will target this summer, but it is reported that a new centre back and striker are his main priorities.
