Blades Handed Major Boost In Attempts To Secure Deal For Manchester United Star

Manchester United are set to allow Dean Henderson to stay at Sheffield United for the remainder of the Premier League season, according to reports in England.

The 23-year-old’s current loan deal expires on June 30th and with the campaign expected to to be extended well into July, there were doubts over whether the keeper would remain at Bramall Lane.

However, United are said to be prepared to allow Henderson to stay with the Blades until the season is completed.

There had been some concerns over whether Chris Wilder side’s surprise challenge for the European places would have hampered the Yorkshire club’s case for keeping the shot-stopper.

Sheffield United are only two points behind the Red Devils and could leapfrog Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team in the table if they win their game in hand.

Even so, it appears the Blades are very confident that a loan extension will be approved, which will come as a huge boost for the team heading into the final ten games of the season.
