Arsenal And Tottenham Among European Elite Targeting Summer Swoop For Sheffield United Loanee

Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing Sheffield United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to ESPN FC.

The 21-year-old, who is currently on a season-long loan spell from Manchester United, has impressed in between the sticks for the Blades this season.

Henderson’s current deal at Old Trafford expires in 2020, but the Red Devils do have an option to extend his stay for a further year.

He is highly rated by United’s staff but the shot-stopper is a long way down the pecking order with David de Gea and Sergio Romero ahead of him for a first-team place.

No doubt, Sheffield United would like to retain Henderson’s services after his loan comes to an end at Bramall Lane, but it’s clear that manager Chris Wilder would have a difficult task with so many high profile clubs after the keeper.

The England Under 21 international has kept 10 clean sheets in the Championship this season, conceding 31 times in 30 appearances for the Blades.
