Arsenal And Old Firm Clubs Keeping Close Tabs On Sheffield United Trialist

Sheffield United may have to move quickly if they want to sign Dundee centre-back Luke Graham, according to The Courier.

The 18-year-old is on trial with the Blades this week but it is believed that Arsenal have been scouting the player very recently.

Graham was handed a run out by Midlands Football League side, Lochee United, last weekend and it is believed a representative from the Gunners’ academy was in attendance.

Scottish powerhouses Celtic and Rangers have also been tracking the defender, with the two Old Firm teams joining Arsenal in sending scouts to see the teenager in action.

The fact that he is on trial with United doesn’t really tell us much, as it is just a chance for Graham to show what he can do. Paul Heckingbottom’s side would still have to negotiate a fee with Dundee if they wanted to sign him, and it appears there could be a lot of competition for the centre-half.
